Who's leading the conversation?
This visualization below allows you to see the impact that each user has on the current conversation. The top row contains the group of users who have had the most impact, the 2nd row the group of users who have had the 2nd most impact (et cetera). Users with similar impact are grouped together, and the average score of the group is shown to the left of the group. The author of the article is also shown on the left, in their corresponding group. Each user's score is based on the number of comments the user has made plus the number of votes their comments have received. The scores are calculated relative one another, so while their absolute value is not particularly important, their relative difference does indicate a larger difference in impact on the conversation.

What ever happened to the "it's not you, it's me" line anyway?

Yeah. Good job in dealing with confrontation.

Maria Ignacio of Winnipeg told court officials that her boyfriend, who is permanently disabled, was “too clingy” and that she didn’t know how else to get rid of him, CNews reports. So, she stole his credit card, and over the course of four months withdrew $21,000 in cash.

WTF?

This isn't doing anything for womens rights activists.

Yeah, the disabled guy was too clingy so I ripped him off so he'd stop being clingy!

How can a disabled guy be too clingy? You can walk away and he probably can't follow you, come see you. You can change your number and never hear from him again.

Ignacio’s defense lawyer claimed. He added Ignacio did not know of any other way to get rid of him.

As I said above...

That's really ridiculous and simply not believable.

However, at the time of her arrest, Ignacio had just completed a two-year conditional sentence for stealing money from another boyfriend. She spent that cash gambling.

Thus why the judge said...

“The impression I have of you is that you are simply a con artist,” he said.

too bad all the details are there.

I was having fun just reading the headline and thinking of it as a hairbrained scheme; a shining example of just how wrong (and at the same time effective) people can be.

oh well.

that's pretty low... whatever happened to the old stand by... I think we should start seeing other people or the golden oldy if you love something set it free if it comes back it's meant to be and I wanna see if we're meant to be... (more girlfriends friends get them to use that line then hook up with the poor single's boyfriend than anything then she gets pissed at them both but still stays friends with them...)

The irony is, to put it bluntly, she said a cripple was too clingy and she couldn't get away...

HOW?!? Just walk up a flight of stairs and he can't follow you.

"This isn't doing anything for womens rights activists. "

How does that reflect on women's rights activists? Do you want men who shoot their wives when their wives ask for a divorce to reflect on men's rights activists?

        -.-'

This woman is an insult to con-men and women alike.

I'd say she's a good con artist, not some woman looking to get out of a relationship. Tell me, what did she do with that money? Can she return it (with interest), or did she spend it?

Tough monkey, girlie, 'cause theft is theft whether or not your intentions were this stupid.

Did she try the "we've drifted apart" line? Or what about the "Why don't we just be friends" one.
